who I am, what I do, why it's different

From Commodore 64 to Central Park at midnight

I was never the athletic kid. Never played sports, barely survived gym class. I was introverted, left of center, most comfortable alone in my room. My father saw that and handed me a Commodore 64 instead of the Nintendo I wanted. I went deeper into systems, into figuring out how things worked. My mother went the opposite direction — she owned a gym, and she'd pull me out of my room to work the floor with her, her way of staying connected to me.

She wanted me to take over the business. I didn't get it. I built an IT company instead. Years later she closed the gym, retired, and passed away from cancer not long after.

That loss broke something open in me. I started training to channel the grief. Lost 39 pounds that summer, got into the best shape of my life. The harder I trained, the closer I felt to her. I soon signed up for an Ironman, to raise money for Women's Cancer Research in her name.

One night, midnight, deep into a run through Central Park after a 54-mile bike ride, I felt her. Every lesson she ever taught me redownloaded, all at once. I asked myself what I was still doing in IT when I clearly wasn't in love with it anymore.

I went back to school for Exercise Science and later Nutritional Science. I found her original gym logo, modernized it, and relaunched her brand under a new name: Brooklyn BodyFit.

Every client I train, every protocol I build, every pattern I trace back to its root, comes from her. This is her spirit, still running in the background.

Your body isn't broken. It's sending you a signal.

Most health and fitness advice treats the body like a checklist: eat less, move more, take this supplement. But bodies are systems — nervous system, hormones, digestion, sleep, stress, movement, all talking to each other constantly. Before tech, before fitness, I spent 20 years troubleshooting complex systems. You don't fix what's broken by patching the symptom you can see — you follow the signal upstream until you find where it's actually breaking down. That's exactly how I work with a body.

→ 01

I look at the whole system

Not just the muscle you want toned or the number on the scale. Nervous system, nutrient status, sleep, stress load, and movement patterns all get factored in.

→ 02

I use real data

Functional blood testing, not guesses or generic templates, to find out what's actually happening inside your body — not just what your last physical said was "in range."

→ 03

I build root-cause protocols

Personalized to what your body is actually telling me, not a one-size-fits-all program pulled off a shelf.

→ 04

I coach the human, not just the body

Sleep, stress, mental load, self-care — they're not separate from your physical health. They're part of the same system.

The credentials behind the approach

13 years in practice. Thousands of hours spent connecting the dots between how someone moves, what they eat, how they sleep, and what their labs actually say.

A client came to me exhausted. Not "needs more coffee" tired — deep, unshakable fatigue. On paper, her labs looked fine. But something in her system was clearly out of sync.

Over three months of working together, we uncovered what her standard checkups had missed: her nervous system was dysregulated, she was significantly nutrient deficient without knowing it, and she had almost no self-care in her life — not in her sleep, her eating, or her mental health. Like a lot of moms, she'd put herself last for so long that "off" had started to feel normal.

We didn't chase symptoms. We rebuilt the foundation — sleep, nutrients, nervous system regulation, real self-care — from the ground up.

Three months later, she was pregnant.

That's not a promise every client will get the same outcome. But it's what happens when you stop treating symptoms and start tracing them back to the source.

Ready to follow your own signal upstream?

You don't need another generic program. You need someone who looks at the full picture — your body, your nervous system, your nutrition, your life — and helps you trace things back to where they really start.
